Our final feature for Nudabite’s sneak peek into Mac&Cheese Week, is the restaurant who started it all. The big cheese, Le Cheese.
Without Le Cheese, this event would not be possible, so we felt it was fitting to save the co-host and main organizer until the timing was just right. Thanks Le Cheese!
The Le Cheese menu highlights nostalgic comfort food, which is centred around local Quebec cheeses. Some of the hot ticket items include homemade tater tots, grilled cheese and deep fried cheesecake bites.
The concept for Mac&Cheese Week came from an interest to reach out to the restaurant community of Montreal and create an event like no other. An event created for restaurants, by restaurants which would focus on a comfort food winter favourite: mac&cheese. In addition, what made this event idea so unique, was the use of cross-promotion techniques on social media for restaurants to not only promote themselves, but each other.
