Spring is finally here to stay, and terrace season has officially begun. If there’s one thing that Montrealers can agree on, it’s that we share a deep love for this time of year. So I think I speak for many of us when I say: there’s no better way to enjoy this blissful season than on a terrace, beverage in hand. The only way to maximize this experience is to add one final (highly necessary!) ingredient: Music – and the Osheaga gang has something kick-ass in store for us this weekend.
To launch terrace season on St-Denis Street, Osheaga will present free shows on outdoor stages. On Friday, May 23, singer-songwriter Catherine Leduc will charm us with her presence and talents, along with folk group Fire/Works, hip-hop collective Alaclair Ensemble and DJ Adam Doubleyou.
Saturday, (May 24) will follow with a performance by the indie-folk-pop ensemble The Seasons, rock band Heat and rap trio Loud Lary Ajust will perform while Karim Ouellet and King Abid will grace us with a DJ set.
As well – for a second year, Osheaga is proud to present the OSHEAGA BLOCK PARTY during MURAL festival, June 14 on St. Laurent blvd. This artsy event is not to be missed…just check out the lineup!
Can’t make it to either? Well don’t forget about Osheaga’s BIG festival weekend – August 1st, 2nd and 3rd, weekend passes are still available!! Get them here
In case you need a refresher to see who will be playing again, it’s hard to deny the epicness of this years lineup…
